大量研究表明,肿瘤代谢与肿瘤的发生、发展以及药物干预密切相关。围绕着肿瘤的代谢特征,本项目申请人及其在该领域的国内、外研究者进行了很多有特色的研究,包括肿瘤细胞EMT转化、肿瘤异常代谢信号网络的相互作用、肿瘤耐药性的变化、肿瘤病因学与流行病学、肿瘤的代谢重编程、肿瘤微环境改变与细胞代谢、肿瘤的预防与疫苗、肿瘤干细胞治疗等。拟举办的“癌症代谢与治疗国际会议“,是申请人和国际顶尖专家在该领域长期研究成果的汇报,将聚集行业内全球顶尖科学家包括诺贝奖获得者及中国科学院院士、中国工程院院士。就肿瘤代谢这一科学领域的国际化探讨与交流提供平台,为我国该领域科学问题的突破及癌症精准医学研究与治疗提供契机。本次国际交流学术会议的举办将有力推进我国肿瘤代谢领域的科研进程。
英文摘要
A line of study has shown that cancer metabolism is intimately linked to cancer drug resistance. A number of the featured research on cancer drug resistance has undergone among the applicant along with his collaborative scientists world-wide in this project, including alteration of cancer drug resistance mediated by cancer abnormal metabolism-induced EMT, etiology, epidemiology, metabolic reprogramming, environment altered cellular metabolism, cancer prevention and vaccine, multidisciplinary treatment i.e. surgical therapy, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy and cancer stem cell therapy. The applicant in this project has undertaken studies on molecular mechanism of miRNAs in initiation, invasion, and metastasis of cancer for a number of years, illustrating a novel mechanism of cancer and cancer stem cell self-renewal and differentiation, genomic and non-genomic pathways initiated by abnormal metabolism, resulting in cell apoptosis. This international conference of cancer metabolism and therapy aims to provide an international scientific platform soliciting prestigious scientists staying together to exchange vision on key scientific question such as multiple drug resistance, and importantly a platform for education of young scientists. This conference also aims to promote the construction of the world’s top metabolomics University in hope for understanding better of cancer drug resistance from novel point of metabolic view. We strongly believe that this conference will help bring about substantial improvement in both cancer research and therapy for all cancer patients.

由大连理工大学主办,并由美国加州大学洛杉矶分校协办第一届“癌症代谢与治疗国际会议”于2016年10月14日至10月17日在大连新世界酒店举行,这次会议的主题是“精准医学:疾病的代谢与治疗”。本会议的议题非常广泛,涵盖癌症病因学、癌症流行病学、癌症代谢重编程、环境因素诱发的细胞代谢改变、癌症预防与疫苗、抗癌新药开发、癌症多学科综合治疗(也就是采用手术、化疗、放疗、癌症干细胞治疗等技术的综合治疗)等领域,来自中国、 美国、 加拿大及英国等多个国家和地区的100 多位注册代表齐聚一堂,通过大会进行了精彩报告和激烈探讨。耐药目前仍是癌症治疗的一大挑战,耐药与癌症代谢紧密相关。近年来随着转录组学、蛋白质组学和代谢质组学、大数据生物信息学中的高通量技术(精准医疗的核心技术)的迅猛发展,我们对恶性肿瘤的代谢特性有了更加深入的了解,这为癌症的精准分子靶向治疗和干预奠定了基础,并铺平了道路。
