在国家自然科学基金委员会和其他部门的财政支持下，我国的微生物学研究正与国际学科发展全面接轨，进入快速发展的新时期，部分研究领域已经达到国际先进水平，但就总体而言，与本学科前沿仍有明显差距。本项目拟总结、分析我国微生物学科发展的成果和问题，梳理国际学科发展态势，预测学科未来发展热点，在此基础上，提出我国微生物学科发展的基本思路、目标任务，为基金委制定微生物学科十三五发展战略和确定优先发展领域提出咨询报告。

Financial support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and other funding agencies has accelerated the integration of microbiological research in China into research efforts by the international community of microbiologists. The field of microbiology in China has witnessed the rapid development over the past three decades, with some areas being internationally well known. However, China still lags behind the developed countries in most areas in microbiology. In this project, we will critically review the development of the field of microbiology in China, focusing on major achievements as well as major challenges, analyze the trends and future directions and identify potential hot areas in this field. Based on these analyses, we will formulate a developmental strategy, including aims and tasks for the field of microbiology in China, to assist the preparation of the 13th five-year-plan and identification of priority areas in microbiology by NSFC.

近年来，我国的微生物学研究步入快速发展期，部分研究领域虽然已经达到国际先进水平，但是总体来说，与本学科前沿仍有一定距离。为了分析和梳理本学科国际发展态势，预测学科未来发展热点，指导我国微生物领域的科研方向，国内微生物领域的知名专家共同完成了《十三五微生物学科战略研究报告》。该报告将为基金委制定微生物学科十三五发展战略和确定优先发展领域提供参考。
