This project is based on the support of a project of National Nature Science Foundation of China: "To regulate the efficacy BTK inhibitor ibrutinib on lymphoma based on the non-classical BAFF/MyD88/NIK NF- NF kappa B signaling pathway and to explore the mechanism” (Project Investigator: Li Zhiming). Both Dr. QIANG PAN HAMMARSTR and Dr. Li Zhiming graduated from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences. In additional, Dr. Pan currently is a visiting professor in the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center. The same educational background could benefit future cooperation and communicate. Different work experience could drive the both sides to learn from each other, and promote the deepening of the cooperation. The advantage of Chinese side is the very goodl lymphoma treatment team and abundant lymphoma sample resources. On the other hand, the advantage of Sweden is that they have the new generation of high-throughput sequencing technology to screen and identify new targets of B cell lymphoma. The project will support the cooperation and exchange between both sides to organize an international meeting at a scale of about 30 people) and to establish lymphoma genome research international working group and to hold an annual lymphoma International Summit Forum (with a scale of 100-300 people), in order to help to carry out the project smoothly and strength the exchanges and cooperation between the domestic and international Lymphoma translational research.
