心血管疾病是危害人民生命健康的头号杀手,是我国疾病患者的第一大致死原因。预防和治疗心血管疾病是医学和生物学研究亟待解决的问题。心肌肥大是一种涉及复杂调控机制的代谢性心肌病,是导致心力衰竭的重要原因。我们前期结果证实miR-223反义核酸能够在整体水平抑制心脏肥大的发生;同时通过对海洋生物麒麟菜中的微小RNA进行序列比对,发现麒麟菜中含有miR-223反义核酸类似物。据此,本项目拟研究麒麟菜中miR-223反义核酸类似物对治疗心肌肥大的作用,制备出能够进行临床试验的天然海洋生物药类。将麒麟菜中的微小RNA研发成为心肌肥大治疗的药物具有极高的临床应用价值。然而,目前国内外还没有成熟的来自海洋生物的天然微小RNA类药物,本课题的完成对于有效治疗心肌肥大具有重大科学意义。

Cardiovascular diseases have become the top killer of human health and life as well as the first major cause of death in China. Prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases is urgently needed to beaddressed. Our previous results showed that miR-223 antisense nucleotide could inhibit cardiomyocyte hypertrophy. Via sequence comparison of the microRNA in Eucheuma, we found that there are miR-223 antisense nucleotide analogues in Eucheuma. This project aims to study the role miR-223 antisense nucleotide analogues in myocardial hypertrophy treatment and prepare natural Marine biological drugs that can be used in clinical trials. It is of great clinical value to develop the microRNA in Eucheuma into a drug for myocardial hypertrophy treatment. However, there are no mature natural small RNA drugs from Marine life at home and abroad, and the completion of this project has great scientific significance for the effective treatment of myocardial hypertrophy. .
