孢子植物是国家重要的战略资源。本项目通过对中国孢子植物志各个卷册的编研,丰富对世界生物物种多样性及其演化规律的认知,为中国孢子植物物种资源和基因资源的开发利用提供综合信息。在未来5年中,项目组将完成中国孢子植物志22个卷册的编著任务,包括《中国海藻志》1卷(甲藻类),《中国淡水藻志》1卷(绿藻门鞘藻目),《中国真菌志》12卷:马鞍菌科和平盘菌科、格孢腔菌目I、丛赤壳科和生赤壳科 II、块菌科、间座壳目、篮状菌属及相关类群、球盖菇科II、牛肝菌科IV、小皮伞科、拟层孔菌科、革菌科III和锁瑚菌科等5科,《中国地衣志》8卷:座囊菌纲、无座盘菌目、鸡皮衣目、茶渍衣科、黑瘤属及饼干衣属、地图衣目、网衣科和异极衣目。编研工作将按照现行的国际命名法规和现代分类系统,对我国上述类群约2400余种进行详尽的描述并图示,并提供分布和习性等信息。项目执行过程中,培养新一代优秀的孢子植物系统分类学人才。

Cryptogams are important natural bio-resources. The Cryptogamic Flora of China is aimed at revealing comprehensive information about the resources of algae, fungi, lichens and bryophytes from this country. Through field investigations, collections, taxonomy and systematic studies of the Chinese cryptogams, 22 volumes of the flora will be provided, including 2 volumes on algae, 12 volumes on fungi and 8 volumes on lichens as a result of the project. The groups included to be studied are Dinophysiales and Prorocentrales, Oedogoniales, Discinaceae and Helvellaceae, Pleosporales I, Bionectriaceae and Nectriaceae II, Tuberaceae, Diapothales, Talaromyces and its allies, Strophariaceae II, Boletales IV, Marasmiaceae, Fomitopsidaceae, Corticiaceae III, Clavulinaceae Clavariadelphaceae Lentariaceae Pterulaceae and Typhulaceae, lichenized Dothidiomycetes, Agyriales, Pertusariales, Lecanoraceae, Buellia and Rinodina, Rhizocarpales, Lecideaceae, and Lichinales. Following modern taxonomic treatments and according to the current International Code of Nomenclature, about 2400 species of different groups will be described and illustrated in details, and inhabitation, distribution range and economic importance of each species will also be provided.
