作物种质资源所蕴藏的丰富遗传多样性是作物遗传变异和品种改良的物质基础,具有重要的利用价值。糜子是我国古老的粮草兼饲用作物,具有独特的营养价值。新疆是我国糜子资源向西传播的通道,各地方品种保留了优异的耐盐和耐旱特性及独特农艺性状,是研究糜子种质资源的重要区域。本项目针对新疆糜子栽培范围广、收集和研究亟待深入的问题,在全面收集各地方品种以及从周边国家引进品种的基础上,建立种质资源库;同时,通过同质园实验及田间观察和分析,进行生物学特性、农艺性状和遗传多样性研究,综合评价各品种的耐盐、耐旱和品质及产量性状,建立适合新疆糜子资源筛选的评价体系并进行资源评价,以期筛选出兼具耐旱、耐盐、优质和高产特性的优异种质。研究成果不仅可为丰富我国糜子种质资源、全面发掘新疆糜子的优异品质进行品种选育与改良以及遗传育种提供重要的理论依据和独特的基因材料,还可为我国糜子种质资源的保护和利用提供科学依据。

The genetic diversity of crop germplasm resources are the material basis of crop genetic variation and variety improvement, and have important use value. Broomcorn millet (Panicum miliaceum L.) is China's ancient forage and forage crops, has a unique nutritional value. Xinjiang is an important channel for the westward transmission of the resources of the country. The varieties of Broomcorn millet in Xinjiang were retain excellent salt tolerance, higher drought tolerance and unique agronomic traits. It is an important area to study the germplasm resources of Broomcorn millet. In the present study, the germplasm resources pool is established on the basis of collecting all local breeds and introducing varieties from neighboring countries. Meantime, Base on Methodology combining homogeneous garden experiment and field observation and analysis in this project, we will focus on addressing the biological characteristics, agronomic traits and genetic diversity. Our aims are to assessment salt tolerance, drought tolerance, quality and yield traits of various cultivars in Broomcorn millet, and establish a evaluation system suitable of drought and salt tolerance, high quality and high yield characteristics for germplasm in Xinjiang.. These results will be not only provide an important theoretical basis and unique through, comprehensive evaluation of salt tolerance, and genetic material for enriching the germplasm resources of China, and comprehensively explore the excellent quality of broomcorn millet in Xinjiang, but also provide important theoretical data and unique genetic material for breeding.
