非作物生境作为害虫、天敌的贮存库,在害虫生物防治中发挥着重要功能。本项目在前期研究基础上,以华北麦田、棉田、玉米田及其周围功能植物(蛇床花)、杨树林网、景观生境构成的农田景观为研究对象,重点进行连续3年可重复、可控制的功能植物(蛇床花)-农田微景观试验,通过系统调查和3S技术解析不同农田景观中害虫、天敌种群动态的时空特征;结合笼罩法和生态能学方法,定量评价天敌的控害功能;再基于稳定同位素碳氮标记技术,明确农田微景观中天敌的转移扩散规律;在此基础上,进一步应用氨基酸标记技术追溯昆虫与寄主之间的营养关系,应用化学生态学探明昆虫与寄主的信息联系,以揭示农田景观中维持害虫、天敌多样性及其功能的营养与化学信息联系机制。由此,阐明农田景观中天敌种群发生的格局、过程、机制及其功能,发展非作物生境对害虫、天敌调节的生态学理论,构建华北农田景观中通过调节非作物生境增强天敌控害功能的应用模式。

Non-crop habitats in surrounding landscapes, as they provide food and shelter resources for natural enemies, play an important role in biological control of insect pests. This project will the examine the regulatory effect of non-crop habitats such as grass (Snake flower bed) strips, poplar forests and remnant vegetation on insect pests and their natural enemies in the wheat, cotton and maize field in North China by consecutive three years. Based on the investigation of insect pest and their natural enemies in different type of farmland for successive three years, we will qualify the temporal - spatial dynamic characteristics of insects and control ability of natural enemies to pests in farmland landscapes according to the principles of the landscape ecology as well as the measure methods of ecological energy. The prey origins, proportions and feeding periods for natural enemies will be traced using carbon and nitrogen stable isotope technology to analyze their transfer rules from field to functional grass in farmland landscape. The chemical information linked insects and their host will be approached by application of chemical analyses to reveal the chemical information communication mechanisms to maintain insect pest and natural enemy diversity in farmland landscape. Thus, we clarify the pattern, process, function, mechanism of natural enemies in farmland landscape. Our objectives are to develop the regulatory theory of non-crop habitats on insect pests and their natural enemies, and establish an application mode of enhancement control of natural enemies on insect pest by adjusting the non- crop habitats in farmland landscape in North China
