Our group has been exploring the brain mechanism of major neuropsychiatric disorder with innovation in MRI molecular and functional imaging and its clinical translation, which mainly consists of Chang Jiang Scholars, winners of National Outstanding Youth Science Fund and the chief scientist of Project 973 and whose member works closely with each other. Our group is multidisciplinary and has complementary advantages. Totally, 476 major papers have been published on the top international academic journals of related fields, such as PNAS, and among them, 23 are published on journals with more than 10 scores impact factor (IF) and 127 of them are between 5 to 10 scores. Ten representative papers (mean IF=10. 2) have been positively cited and evaluated for 453 times in the Nature Reviews Neuroscience and other magazines by neuroscientists, such as professor Raichle, the pioneer of brain function imaging and the academician of the National Academy of Science who thought our findings have provided imaging evidence for discovering the brain mechanism of major neuropsychiatric disorder. The Group has been selected as "Cheung Kong Scholars and Innovation Team Development Plan" of the Ministry of Education in 2012. Professor Qiyong Gong has been invited to address the "New Horizons Lecture" speech at the ISMRM (International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine) 23rd Annual Meeting in 2015, has become the first ISMRM fellow in mainland, and has been invited to write a review for Radiology who ranks the first in the field of imaging, which have established our international status on the psycho-radiology research. One of our projects has won the second prize of National Prize for Natural Sciences in 2015.
