英文摘要
The cooperation and exchange project is aimed to deepen the methodological study on quantitative assessment of cardiovascular function for patients with coronary arterial disease through collaborations with Russian researchers. The main target of the project is to realize noninvasive estimation of coronary fractional flow reserve (FFR) and quantitative evaluation of blood perfusion conditions in both coronary arteries and myocardium by developing techniques to fuse image data and biomechanical model. Outcomes of the study are expected to provide useful information supporting functional diagnosis and decision-making in the treatment of coronary arterial disease. The project will be implemented on the basis of a sufficient utilization of the research resources and complementary advantages available in both research groups to reach an effective integration of techniques in image treatment, biomechanical modeling, numerical computation and clinical diagnosis, thereby ensuring the on-schedule completion of the development and validation of the FFR estimation system.
