申请人多年来从事玉米分子遗传学研究工作。博士后期间,对玉米最主要的储藏蛋白醇溶蛋白开展了较为系统的研究,以第一作者在PNAS、Genome Research等期刊发表系列研究论文;获得过美国农业部的嘉奖。回国工作后,独立领导研究小组开展了玉米蛋白品质突变体的基因克隆、玉米醇溶蛋白基因的表达调控、作物重要基因的比较基因组学等研究;代表性工作包括对玉米经典籽粒突变体Opaque1、Opaque7的基因克隆和功能分析、对玉米重要驯化基因Tb1的突变本质研究等,以通讯作者在Plant Cell、Cell Research等期刊发表系列研究论文。已发表SCI论文49篇,其中近5年28篇(通讯作者22篇),所有论文近5年SCI引用约1100次。
英文摘要
The applicant has years of research experience on maize molecular genetics. During postdoctoral period, he carried out systematic studies on maize major storage proteins – the zeins, and published series of first author papers on PNAS, Genome Research, etc, and was awarded by USDA. After returned to China, he carried out independent researches on gene cloning of maize protein quality mutants, gene expression and transcriptional regulation of zein genes, and comparative genomics on genes with important functions. His representative works including the cloning and functional analysis of two classic maize seed mutants Opaque1 and Opaque7, and the identification of causative mutations for maize domestication gene tb1. As the corresponding author, he published research papers on Plant Cell, Cell Research, etc. He had published 49 SCI index paper, among them, 28 (including 22 as the corresponding author) were within the last 5 years. His publications had about 1100 SCI citations during the last 5 years.
