胃癌在我国的发病率远高于发达国家,且造成了巨大的经济负担。现行的胃镜加活检的诊断方法主要依据肿瘤形态学的改变,因而难以发现早期胃癌。研究表明,肿瘤细胞分子功能改变早于形态学变化。研发可识别早期胃癌分子功能改变,同时提高形态学诊断精确度的全新内镜系统,将大大提前胃癌诊断与处置时间,是未来胃镜系统设计和研发的发展方向。依托于国家自然科学基金重大项目“胃癌恶性生物学行为的分子影像基础研究”,我们发现内窥式分子影像可以检测到消化道肿瘤的早期分子功能改变,自主研发了契伦科夫内镜系统,并探索了成像算法及肿瘤在体诊断。本项目拟在前期研究的基础上研发全新的多模态消化内镜,该内镜将契伦科夫内镜系统、探头式共聚焦内镜系统及高清白光电子内镜集于一体,同时实现对组织形态、功能和显微结构三种信息实时成像。本项目的研究将为消化道肿瘤的早期检测、预后判断等提供强有力的“一站式”工具。
英文摘要
The incidence of gastric cancer in China is far higher than developed countries,and it becomes a major health burden in our country. At present, the main diagnostic method of gastric cancer is gastroscope and biopsy. But this method mainly depends on morphological changes of cancer, so it is difficult to find early gastric cancer. Many researches indicate that, the molecular changes of cancer cells appear earlier than morphological changes. So, it is urgently needed to develop a new gastroscope system which can detect molecular changes of early.gastric cancer and improve the current diagnostic accuracy based on morphological changes. This system will greatly advance gastric cancer diagnosis and treatment time and also will be a new direction of future gastroscope system design and development. Financed by the major project of National Natural Science Fund "the basic molecular imaging research of malignant biological behaviors of gastric cancer", we previously found that endoscopic molecular imaging can detect early molecular function changes of gastrointestinal cancer. We independently established Cerenkov endoscope system, and further explored the imaging algorithm and the in vivo diagnosis of cancer. Therefore, based on previous studies, this project aims to develop a new multimodalities endoscope which integrates Cerenkov endoscope system, probe confocal endoscope system and HD white light electronic endoscope system to achieve the real time imaging of organization morphology, metabolic function and microstructure at the same time. This project will provide a powerful "one-stop" tool for early detection and prognostic judgments of gastrointestinal cancer
