申请人聚焦中医“情志致病”理论，从“疾病易感性”独特视角，创新和建立了系列适合中医药作用特点的应激动物模型，系统深入地研究了“情志应激”与“疾病易感性”的关联性和关联机制，发现细胞内“氧化-还原”失衡是中医“情志致病”理论的生物医学基础之一，在此基础上有效表征了清热消炎宁等中药的药效，并阐明其作用机制。上述创新性发现和成果为中医“情志致病”理论提供了现代生物医学的诠释，研究工作继承和发展了中医药理论。共发表SCI论文62篇，包括在Mol Neurobiol、Dis Mod Mech和Sci Rep等期刊的第一/通讯作者论文42篇；授权专利3项，1项获“中国优秀专利奖”；入选 “新世纪优秀人才支持计划”、“广东省杰出青年”、“广东省拔尖人才”、“珠江科技新星”等；获“教育部科技进步二等奖”和“广东省科技进步二等奖”。拟开展“肝郁化火”导致“热疮”与潜伏I型疱疹病毒复发“易感”的机制研究。

The main research interest of the applicant has been focusing on the theory of “Emotion Causing Diseases” in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Using the concept of "disease susceptibility", she has established and improved series of emotional stress models to investigate the biological mechanisms of “Emotion Causing Diseases”. Using Chinese medicinal formula and their active ingredients, the applicant has evaluated those models and explored the mechanisms of “Emotion Causing Diseases”. She has contributed to 62 peer-reviewed scientific articles (all recorded in SCI database), including 42 publications as the first or corresponding author in high impact journals, such as Molecular Neurobiology, Disease Models & Mechanisms, and Scientific Reports. In addition, the applicant has 3 approved patents, one of which was awarded as “Patent Award of China”. She was honored as the Trans-Century Talents of the State Education Commission, the Distinguished Young Scholar of Guangdong Province, and the New Star of Science & Technology of Guangzhou City. Finally, the applicant has received numerous awards, including the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Class), the Technological Progress Award from Ministry of Education (Second Class). The present project focuses on the mechanisms of emotion stress- induced HSV-1 latency and reactivation.
