Fat liver hemorrhage syndrome (FLHS) is a nutritional and metabolic disease caused by fat metabolism disorder and characterized by fatty degeneration and bleeding of the liver. It is a common disease in high yield hens. Clinical causes mainly related to nutritional factors, genetic factors, management factors, environmental factors, hormones and toxic substances. High-energy low-protein diet is the main cause of fatty liver haemorrhagic syndrome on the producing laying hens, but the pathogenesis is still not clear. AMPK (AMP-activated protein kinase) and its network are closely related to the animal body fat metabolism. Therefore, this study uses in situ hybridization, real-time PCR, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry and computer image analysis techniques and clinical pathology detection technology to study the role of AMPK pathway, in vivo and in vitro, in FLHS laying hens fat metabolism, and to reveal the relationship of AMPK pathway with FLHS caused by high-energy low-protein diets, and partially elucidate the potential mechanism, provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of FLHS in high-yielding hens.
