近年来园艺和植物营养学科基础研究得到了快速发展，研究对象具有特色、具有重要产业和社会价值。研究和制定园艺和植物营养学科发展战略规划，明确优先资助领域是国家自然基金等科研计划的迫切需求。本项目拟通过国内外调研，了解国家重大需求相关的重要科学问题，把握该学科发展的前沿与特色、我国的优势、与其它学科交叉的影响和需要，提出未来 5-10 年我国园艺学和植物营养学的战略目标、整体思路、优先资助领域、重大交叉领域和国际交流优先领域，为我国未来园艺和植物营养学科研的发展提供必要依据和支撑。

Basic research in Horticulture and Plant Nutrition disciplines has experienced rapid developments in recent years. The objects in horticulture and plant nutrition studies are unique, and of important industrial and social values. Investigation on the development strategies and plot out the priority areas of funding for next 5-10 years are necessary for the scientific programme of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). This project will investigate and survey the recent research both domestically and internationally, concise the most important scientific questions to meet the social-economical demands, steer the advancing and feature of these disciplines, conclude the advantages and weakpoint of Chinese research and point out the areas for future cross-discipline and international communication. This project will depict a detail blueprint on the strategic goal, comprehensive policy, priority areas of funding, key areas for cross-discipline and inter-national communication, thus provide a firm support and basis for the developments of horticulture and plant nutrition discipline in next 5-10 years.

本项目按照生命科学部的规划，按时完成了园艺和植物营养学科发展战略规划，明确了优先资助领域，并提出了交叉领域的重点发展方向。本项目通过国内外文献调研，专家讨论和调研、会议等形式，凝练了园艺和植物营养领域国家重大需求相关的重要科学问题，并提出了未来 5-10 年我国园艺学和植物营养学的战略目标、整体思路、优先资助领域、重大交叉领域和国际交流优先领域，为我国未来园艺和植物营养学科研的发展提供了依据和支撑。
