生理学既是阐明生命现象最重要的基础科学，也是生物学和临床医学的重要“桥梁”基础学科。生理学研究探讨人体如何适应不断变化的内外环境，以期解决临床医学重大问题，探索新的疾病诊断和治疗手段，在延长人类寿命和提高健康水平等方面发挥关键作用。我国生理科学正处于整合和系统发展的关键时期，研究和制定学科发展战略规划以明确优先资助领域是国家自然基金等科研计划的迫切需求。本项目拟通过国内外调研，了解国家重大需求相关的重要科学问题，把握国际生理科学发展的前沿，提出未来5-10年我国生理学科的战略目标、整体思路、优先资助领域和重大交叉领域，为我国未来生理学科研的发展提供必要依据和支撑。

Physiology is the most important basic science to clarify phenomena of life, and also an important "bridge" between biology and clinical medicine. In order to solve the major clinical problems and explore new means in diagnosis and therapy of diseases, physiology plays a key role in prolonging human lifespan and improving health level by investigating how the body adapts to the changing internal and external environment. Physiological sciences in China is in a crucial period of integration and systemic development, therefore, in order to identify the prior supporting areas, it is the urgent demand of National Natural Science Foundation and other research projects to study and make strategic plan of discipline development. By means of domestic and international investigation, the present project is aimed to understand the important scientific problems of major national demands, to grasp the frontier of international development in physiological sciences, to propose the strategic objectives, the overall ideas, the prior supporting areas and the intersection fields in physiology study within the next 5-10 years in our country, and to provide necessary basis and support for the development of physiological research in the future.

生理学既是阐明生命现象最重要的基础科学，也是生物学和临床医学之间的重要“桥梁”学科。生理学研究探讨人体如何适应不断变化的内外环境，发生稳态调控规律。生理学研究在延长人类寿命和提高健康水平等方面也发挥关键作用。 我国生理科学正处于整合器官和系统发展的关键时期,研究和制定学科发展战略规划以明确优先资助领域是国家自然基金委员会布局我国十三五期间科研发展计划的迫切需求。我们于2014年5月底前，完成学科调研组的组建并召开学科调研组会议，确定了调研方案和内容。接着通过向国内外生理学各个专业和系统的专家的广泛调研。根据近年来国际生理科学发展的前沿进展，结合我国重大需求相关的重要科学问题分析出相关专业发展规律与发展态势。并进一步梳理出生理学科优先资助领域和重大交叉领域。于2014年10月20日完成了初步报告。并于2014年底完成修改稿。最终希望为十三五期间生理学科制定研究指南提供了必要依据和支撑。
