细胞生物学是研究细胞基本生命活动规律的科学。近年来，我国在细胞生物学领域的研究取得了一系列成果。为了确保未来细胞生物学科的快速稳定发展，本项目拟通过调研了解国家重大需求相关的重要科学问题，把握国际发展前沿，提出未来五年我国细胞生物学学科研究的发展战略目标、基本思路、整体布局和优先发展领域，为我国细胞生物学科的发展提供必要依据和支撑。

Cell biology is a discipline to study cell activities, the cellular basis of the life and the underlying mechanisms. In recent years, China has made a series of achievements in this important field. To ensure the rapid and stable development of this discipline in the future, this project intends to summarize the important basic scientific questions and to meet our national needs. By finish this project, we hope to put forward strategic objectives and to lay out the priority research areas in cell biology for the next five years in order to advance the field.
