Evolution of human complex brain can not be attributable to single gene or single regulatory mechanism. Only synthesize the various elements and multidimensional genetic regulatory mechanism is expected to be possible to achieve breakthroughs. Thus explore the genetic mechanisms underlying rapid evolution of the human brain need to tap more relevant genes and new regulatory mechanisms. The importance of lincRNA genes in the nervous system provides a new perspective for the study of genetic mechanisms of the human brain. However, the role of the young new lincRNA genes originated in the evolution of the human brain has not been systematically studied. The project will parse out the young originated human lincRNA genes and study their evolutionary and functional characteristics by integrating bioinformatics, systems biology, and neurobiology methods, and find out the functional mechanism of 2-3 young originated lincRNA in the human nervous system. It will help to explore the genetic mechanisms of rapid evolution the human brain, providing new ideas and basic data for studying the genetic mechanisms of rapid evolution the human brain。
