Genome Biol(IF=10.5),Sci Rep(IF=5.6,2篇)。
The applicant has been working in the field of thoracic surgery, exhibiting outstanding surgical skills. He has had good experience in lung and trachea transplantation and in the minimally invasive treatment of chest diseases. He is capable of performing uniportral Video-assisted Thoracic Surgery . Moreover, He has completed a series of innovation in the thoracic surgery technology with several patents. He has been actively engaged in studying the mechanism of in angiogenesis and surgical treatment of bronchiectasis, and has gained a lot of achievements during the last 5 years. Collaborating with team members, Dr. Zhang et al. identified several high-risk factors for the recurrence and metastasis of the non-small cell lung cancer. Their work has been published in top journals in thoracic surgery, including Ann Thorac Surg(IF=3.9), Sci Rep (IF = 5.6), Plos Pathog(IF=7.6),as well as Genome Biol (IF = 10.5). The goal of this project intends to study the compensatory growth of remaining lung tissue post-lung resection surgery. Through the clinical cases and mouse models, Dr. Zhang’s team are going to explore the mechanism of interaction between macrophages and endothelial cells the compensatory lung growth and angiogenesis. Such study will deepen the understanding of compensatory lung growth.
