从分子、基因、神经网络、心理等多个层次和多种动物模型阐明高级认知的机理是目前脑科学研究的前沿课题。本研究群体主要由北京大学IDG麦戈文脑科学研究所PI组成,包括讲席教授、千人计划特聘教授、杰出青年基金获得者、青年千人特聘研究员等。该团队成员交叉合作,采用分子生物学、电生理、神经影像、和行为测量等多种研究手段,针对情绪、记忆、决策和自我参照加工等高级认知的神经机理开展了系统的研究,在Nature、Science、Nature Neuroscience、Nature Review Neuroscience、 Neuron、Current Biology、PNAS等国际学术期刊上发表多项原创性研究成果,形成了一个有国际影响的研究团队。建设该创新研究群体将推动中国在高级认知的神经和分子遗传机理这一领域开展系统的交叉学科研究,并基于研究成果提出新理论,对科学理解高级认知的神经机理做出重要贡献。
英文摘要
The current brain research integrates multiple techniques to study neural, molecular, genetic and psychological mechanisms underlying high-level cognition in humans and other primates. This multidisciplinary team consists of principle investigators from the PKU-IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research at Peking University, who have employed different approaches to the study of brain and have won international reputations. This multidisciplinary team has conducted excellent research on the mechanisms of high-level cognition such emotion, memory, and decision making using multiple methods from molecular biology, electrophysiology, neuroimaging, and behavior tests. This team has published their findings in high-profile journals such as Nature, Science, Nature Neuroscience, Nature Review Neuroscience, Neuron, Current Biology, PNAS and so on. The long-term mission of this team is to promote interdisciplinary brain research of neural and molecular mechanisms of high-level cognition in China and put forward new theories about brain function. This will finally make great contributions to the understanding of neural, molecular and genetic mechanisms of high-level cognition.
