蜡蝉科Fulgoridae昆虫是一类重要的农林业害虫,是连接具有“刺-锯形”和“刺穿或挖掘式”产卵器蜡蝉类群的重要中间纽带,多数种类还具奇特的头突结构,在蜡蝉总科演化系统中占有重要地位。目前制约蜡蝉科分类的主要问题在于属和种的划分很不合理,疑难类群鼻蜡蝉属Zanna对蜡蝉科的系统发育研究造成障碍,蜡蝉科的起源和扩散假说与化石证据之间存在着明显矛盾,严重制约着蜡蝉科昆虫分类研究的发展。本项目在前期研究的基础上,采用比较形态学、超微形态学、分子生物学和历史生物地理学等研究方法和手段,获取多方面证据,对我国蜡蝉科昆虫属种级单元进行重新划分和系统订正,探讨鼻蜡蝉属的系统发育关系,明确蜡蝉科各亚科、族级单元的起源及区系形成历史。本项目的实施可为蜡蝉科的系统发育关系重建提供重要基础,对于提高我国蜡蝉科这一薄弱类群的研究水平,丰富中国及世界蜡蝉区系,均具有重要意义。
英文摘要
The family Fulgoridae is one kind of important agroforestry pest. It is a significant link of fulgorids which have the female genitalia bearing piercing apparatus and excavating apparatus, most species in this family have unusual shape of the head process as well, which plays an important role in the evolutionary exploration of the superfamily Fulgoroidea. However, The bottleneck problem of the taxonomy of Fulgoridae lie in that the division of generic and specific taxa in Chinese fauna remain questionable, the genus Zanna has hindered the phylogenetic study of the family, and the hypothesis for explaining the origin and distribution of Fulgoridae is obviously contradicted to the fossil evidence. These present problems severely restrict the classification of Fulgoridae to date. In this project, the methods of comparative morphology, ultrastructural morphology, molecular biology and historical biogeography are adopted, which aims to obtain more evidence and based on this, reclassify and revise the genere and species of Chinese Fulgoridae, reveal the phylogenetic relationship of Zanna and explain the origin and fauna history of these subfamily and tribal taxa in this family. The implement of this project will provide solid foundation for the phylogenetic reconstruction of Fulgoridae in future study, moreover, promote the taxonomy of this group in China and also enrich the fauna of Fulgoridae worldwide.
