同行评议是科技项目评估中较为公认的客观有效方法之一。因此，正确选择同行评议专家、建设学科同行评议选择辅助系统及专家库，在科技评价中，不仅重要，而且必要。本项目拟组织学科专家和专业人士，通过分析动物学学科国内外发展趋势，梳理重点支持方向，编制动物学学科方向分类与关键词，对动物学学科基金二级代码进行优化性修订，对三级代码研究方向及关键词进行细化；以利于在工作中，更加有效地选择同行评议专家，引导基金申请人和评议人，准确把握科学问题的学科归属；提高我国科学基金的科学性与管理效率；推动动物学科发展。

Peer review is one of the most fair-minded and efficient methods for evaluation of scientific project. Proper selection of peer review expert is very important in the scientific evaluation. It is necessary to establish a peer review assign system and experts database. This project plans to summarize the key supporting fields and analyze frontier in zoology, and then revise the secondary level of the application code and compile the third level of the code and keywords. It will be available for the management staffs to select the peer reviewers and for the applicants and reviewers to select the proper study directions, and then make the management of foundation more effective and scientific. It will also promote the development of zoology.

通过本项目的实施，组织学科专家和专业人士，通过分析动物学学科国内外发展趋势，梳理重点支持方向，完成了编制动物学学科方向分类与关键词的任务；对动物学学科基金二级代码进行优化性修订，对三级代码研究方向及关键词进行细化。该项目的完成有利于在今后同行评议工作中更加有效地选择同行评议专家，引导基金申请人和评议人，准确把握科学问题的学科归属，提高我国科学基金的科学性与管理效率。
