Current studies on spleen deficiency syndrome of TCM have the following problems: (1) research on the animal model of spleen deficiency as the research object. The results of the study have limitations, it is difficult to truly and fully reflect the scientific connotation of spleen deficiency syndrome; (2) Using traditional research methods from a certain point of view can not reveal the whole picture of spleen deficiency syndrome. However,The systematic biological approach to the characteristics of the whole study, the interpretation of the whole life and the dynamic characteristics of the system provides a possibility for the deep interpretation of the scientific connotation of the theory of spleen deficiency syndrome.Clinical manifestation and core pathogenesis of functional dyspepsia consistent with spleen deficiency syndrome. There is a corresponding characteristic gene group in the genome. The metabolism group showed the characteristic metabolites of bacteria and host, and classic spleen medicine has the function of system regulation. This subject is to start with the spleen deficiency syndrome and intestinal flora closely related. The changes of intestinal micro ecology and its host metabolism may be an important basis for scientific connotation of spleen deficiency syndrome, and also an important target for spleen deficiency syndrome .Through the analysis of the "big data" in the study of clinical group, to find the specific metabolites, screening and validation of drug targets, which is an important way to reveal the scientific connotation of the theory of spleen deficiency syndrome, and it will lay the foundation for the diagnosis and evaluation of the clinical function of the spleen and stomach deficiency syndrome and the evaluation index of clinical efficacy.
