“中病即止”是针灸治病的重要原则，强调在针刺治疗中应把握有效刺激量，避免刺激过度引起的无效刺激或损伤刺激，旨在减轻患者痛苦，节约宝贵的医疗资源。临床报道和我们的前期研究均发现电针可促进面神经损伤修复，但疗程过长可导致损伤反应。最新研究表明雪旺细胞（SCs）自噬在周围神经损伤修复中起到关键作用，但过度自噬对细胞有害。从面神经损伤后SCs自噬入手可能是阐释“中病即止”科学内涵的新途径。本项目以针灸临床优势病种—面瘫（面神经损伤）为研究载体，以面神经损伤大鼠为研究对象，从构成电针刺激量的重要参数—强度、频率、留针时间和疗程入手，筛选电针治疗本病的有效刺激量，再运用组织形态学、免疫组化、原位杂交、PCR及Western Blot等方法，并采用自噬抑制剂和GDNF拮抗剂，从正、反两面证实SCs自噬及其信号通路在电针促进面神经损伤修复中的分子机制，为中医经典理论—中病即止的临床应用提供科学的理论依据。

"Zhong Bing Ji Zhi" is an important principle in acupuncture treatment，which emphasizes the effective amount of stimulation should be grasped to prevent excessive stimulation or invalid irritation，aiming at alleviating the suffering of patients and saving valuable medical resources．Clinical reports and our preliminary studies have found that electroacupuncture can promote the repair after facial nerve injury，but long duration can lead to damage response．New researches have showed that Schwann cells (SCs) autophagy plays a key role in peripheral nerve injury，but excessive autophagy is detrimental to cells，which may be a new way to interpret "Zhong Bing Ji Zhi"．This study chosing the dominating disease—facial paralysis(facial nerve injury) as the carrier and facial nerve injury in rats as the research object，which starts from the important parameters of constituting the electrical stimulation quantity—intensity，frequency，needle retention time and duration to screening a therapeutically effective amount of stimulation， then we use tissue　morphology，immunohistochemistry，in situ hybridization，PCR，Western Blot and adopt the autophagy inhibitors and GDNF antagonists．From the positive and negative sides, we can analyze the molecular mechanism of SCs autophagy with acupuncture in the repair after facial nerve injury，to provide a scientific basis for clinical application of the classical theory — "Zhong Bing Ji Zhi"．
