Dispersal model and food chain characteristics of the Ural Owl (Strix uralensis) are studied by using Radio Telemetry and Stable Isotope methods. The dispersal model and its evolutionary mechanism of the bird will be analyzed though the differences of body, sex, dispersal distance and habitat characteristics. We will assess the effects of intrinsic and extrinsic factors on dispersal behavior. Because the owl is a top consumer in ecosystem, we will evaluate the controlling effect of this bird’s food chain using Stable Isotope method. Also, the controlling effect of the dispersal individuals in new habitat is evaluated. Not only do we enrich the early theories of dispersal and food chain, but make for top consumer conservation in this project.
