针对每年国内外果品采后损失严重的实际问题,开展果实成熟衰老机制研究具有重要的理论和实际意义。番茄是重要的园艺作物和研究果实成熟的模式植物,课题组前期研究表明了microRNA和lncRNA都参与了调控番茄果实成熟。本项目拟对RNA结合蛋白开展深入研究,将在全基因组水平筛选与番茄成熟相关的RNA结合蛋白,解析关键RNA结合蛋白的生物学功能,通过转录组测序和RIP-seq技术鉴定RNA结合蛋白直接调控靶RNA,最终准确而清晰的诠释RNA结合蛋白调控果实成熟的分子机制,为果实发育成熟调控提供新的基因资源,为改造番茄果实性状提供新的途径。

Due to serious loss of fruits at home and abroad each year, it is important theoretical and practical significance to launch the research on the mechanism of fruit ripening and senescence. Tomato is an important horticultural crops and a model plant for the research in fleshy fruit ripening.Our previous study shows that microRNA and lncRNA is related to tomato fruit ripening. This project aims to carry out in-depth research on RNA binding protein by genome-wide discovering RNA binding proteins in tomato and illustrating their biological function. Then we use RNA-seq and RIP-seq technology to identified target RNA of RNA binding protein to clarify the molecular mechanism of RNA binding protein regulation on fruit ripening,which will provide new gene resource and new way for fruit ripening regulation.
