Orphan Nuclear Receptor Nur77 is an important member of the nuclear receptor family, which can be induced by a variety of cytokines and participate in the regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis and autophagy. The abnormal expression or dysfunction of Nur77 can lead to obesity, cancer, diabetes, atherosclerosis or other major diseases. Our preliminary studies showed that a marine bioactive substances called XS-284 that targeted nuclear receptor Nur77 has an inhibitory effect on obesity.We use leptin mutant ob/ob obese mice and DIO obese mice induced by high fat diet as obesity animal model, focuses on the study of the inhibitory effect on obesity of XS-284 and its derivatives, explore the new mechanism of the role of XS-284 in lipid regulation. This research will provide an important theoretical and experimental basis for in-depth understanding of obesity and the search for new targets and potential therapeutic drugs s for the treatment of obesity.
