十字花科山嵛菜属包括重要的耐盐模式植物盐芥和经济作物块茎山嵛菜 (山葵),具有极高的科学价值,同时也是重要的经济作物资源。目前该属和邻近属的属间界限不明,属内物种划分混乱,从而导致属间和种间的分类学、系统发育关系都不清楚。我们拟在全面的野外调查和室内标本鉴定基础之上,检查该属及其近缘属所有物种形态性状和5套分子条形码 (barcoding) 序列变异在居群水平上的间断与簇群,结合生态位分化和染色体数目变异等,确认应划分为多少个物种;再利用获得的分子条形码序列,在每一个确定的物种中选择代表个体,重新建立物种和属之间的系统发育关系,检验以前划分的属是否是单系群。在系统发育基础上,完成分布扩散和关键形态性状演化的研究。根据新获得的居群水平上的形态和遗传间断,对物种进行全面的分类修订;根据新获得的属间系统发育关系和分支单系性质,对属的范围和分类进行重新修订。
英文摘要
Eutrema, Brassicaceae (Cruciferae), is an important genus including the model plant for salt-tolerance studies, E. salsugineum and the economic wasabi plant E. japonicum. However, species delimitations remain unclear within the genus and the generic circumscription is highly debated. In this study, we aim to establish morphological and genetic clusters for all ‘species’ at the population level based on all traits and sequence variations of barcoding DNA fragments and determine how many species should be acknowledged within the genus and related genera. Then we will construct phylogenetic relationships between all species and genera based on sequence variations of barcoding DNAs. We will test whether these genera are monophyletic and determine generic circumscriptions based on the monophyletic clades. We will present a final taxonomic revision for this genus and related genera.
