本项目拟针对中国姬尺蛾亚科昆虫大量物种尚未发现、描记,已描述的绝大多数物种原始描述简单、缺乏可靠的鉴别特征及鉴别特征图,存在很多同物异名、异物同名,准确鉴定物种困难,亚科内部系统发育关系尚不清晰,部分族、属的单系性尚不明确等问题,开展中国姬尺蛾亚科的系统分类与分子系统发育研究。本研究将在检视模式标本的基础上,结合传统形态分类和DNA分类来实现物种的准确鉴定,描述新分类单元,预计掌握物种200–250种;基于8个分子标记探讨和澄清姬尺蛾亚科内部族、属、种团间的系统发育关系,揭示该类群在鳞翅目系统发育中的地位及系统演化历史。本项目的研究结果对于研究世界姬尺蛾亚科,乃至鳞翅目昆虫的物种多样性、区系起源与演化、生物学等均具有重要的意义。
英文摘要
This project aims to study the systematic taxonomy and molecular phylogeny of the Chinese Sterrhinae. At present, there are many unresolved scientific problems in the study of Sterrhinae, such as, many species are unrecorded or undescribed, most known species only have simple description and lack distinctive diagnosis, lots of synonyms are present, the phylogenetic relationships in the subfamily is not clear, and the monophyly of some tribes and genera are still puzzles. The systematic taxonomy study will combine traditional morphological taxonomy with DNA taxonomy, to identify species based on checking type materials and to describe new taxa. Totally 200 to 250 species are expected to be dealt with. The molecular phylogeny study will investigate the phylogenetic relationships among tribes, genera and species-groups based on eight genetic markers. The results from this project will provide valuable information for the biodiversity, the understanding of the origin and evolution, biology of Sterrhinae, even Lepidoptera.
