思茅松为我国云南省特有的优良用材及产脂树种,是一种集经济效益、生态效益和社会效益于一身的植物,具有极高的开发利用价值。由于思茅松的遗传基础研究比较薄弱,对其许多性状的早期选择和高效遗传改良等问题仍无法从根本上得到解决,从而制约着思茅松良种选育工作的进程。解决这一问题的关键就是构建高密度分子标记遗传连锁图谱,再利用图谱对其重要性状进行 QTL 定位,可为将来思茅松重要性状的分子标记辅助选择奠定基础,而且对其重要性状相关基因的图位克隆及分子遗传改良具有十分重要的意义。必将大大促进思茅松良种选育进程、促进这一优良植物资源的高效开发。
英文摘要
Simao pine (Pinus kesiya var. langbinanensis), mainly distributed in Southwestern of Yunnan, is one of the most important timber and resin producdotion tree species in China. It is a kind of economic, ecological and social benefits plant. The prospects of exploitation and utilization are very extensive, however breeding programs of Simao pine is constraining by its narrow genetic background. Therefore, genetic improvement will be major subject in Simao pine in future. In order to ultimately selectively breed Simao pine a coordinated breeding scheme that includes phenotypic selection, family selection, and marker-assisted selection (MAS) based on quantitative trait loci (QTL) needs to be implemented. A key step in such a genetic improvement scheme is genetic mapping. Genetic maps are essential tools for genomic studies, a high-density genetic map and the analysis of QTL that control important commercially traits are prerequisite for marker-aided selection (MAS) to improve the selection efficiency and accelerate breeding process. It not only provide information for the early selection of important traits, but also produce the important significance on map-based cloning and molecular breeding. It will greatly promote the breeding process and utilization for this tree species.
