Goose Parvovirusis(GP) is an acute and sub-acute septicemic infectious disease caused by goose parvovirus (GPV)and is prevalent worldwide. This disease can cause serious problem for the development of goose industry because of its high incidence and mortility and there are still not effective therapeutic measurements. Therefore, it is imperative to develop effective vaccine. Virulence reversion and incomplete inactivation are the disadvantages of the traditional vaccine gene engineering vaccine could solve these problems.Previous studies indicated live fowlpox virus vectored vaccines could express foreign protective gene constantly and stimulate long term humoral and cellular immunity. At the same time, it was reported interferon gamma could be used as an adjuvant to reduce the side effect of virus vectored vaccines. Currently, fowlpox virus expressing both protective antigens of goose parvovirus and goose interferon gamma has not yet been evaluated. In this study, the goose parvovirus VP3 gene, which could stimulate neutralizing antibodies and goose interferon gamma gene will be used to construct recombinant fowlpox virus. The protectivity of the recombinant virus vaccine expressing both factors or individual gene will be evaluated and the related mechanism will be investigated. The study will lay the foundation for the control and novel vaccine development of goose parvovirusis.
