小麦是世界性的重要粮食作物,干旱高温等逆境条件严重制约着小麦生产的发展。应对挑战最有效途径之一是发掘利用小麦自身对环境水分、高温的协调适应潜力,选育抗旱耐热品种。针对我国小麦抗旱耐热遗传改良工作中急需高效鉴定评价指标及优异基因资源问题,本项目与CIMMYT联合筛选适于我国冬小麦抗旱耐热鉴定评鉴的优先级表型性状;揭示抗旱耐热性状的遗传基础,以及基因型与环境互作特点,发掘优异等位基因及分子标记;通过表型和基因型设计聚合优异基因,创新抗旱耐热遗传资源。为小麦抗旱耐热性的遗传改良提供选择指标及优异基因资源,提升我国小麦抗逆高产育种水平,保障国家粮食安全。
英文摘要
Wheat is one of staple food crops in the world. Environmental stresses such as drought and high temperature significantly restrict wheat production. Mining and utilization of elite germplasm resources to develop abiotic stress tolerant new varieties is one of most effective and economic ways to meet the challenge. Efficient identification and evaluation index and excellent genetic resources are bottlenecks for drought and heat resistance breeding in China. The project jointly with CIMMYT aims to identify of high priority traits for phenotyping of drought and heat tolerance in winter wheat, reveal the genetic bases of drought and heat adaptations, characterize the interaction of genotype and environment, detect favorable alleles and develop its functional markers, pyramid favorable genes through phenotypic and genotypic design, as well as enhance drought and heat resistant genetic resources. The project will provide selection indices and excellent genetic resources for the improvement of drought and heat resistance, improve the breeding level of drought and heat tolerance in wheat, and ensure food security in china.
