视网膜退行性疾病是包括年龄相关性黄斑变性（AMD）及视网膜色素变性（RP）在内的一组严重致盲性眼病，此类疾病的病理基础是视网膜神经元细胞的不可逆性损伤，目前临床尚无有效的治疗手段。近年细胞替代治疗方法的出现，使视网膜退行性疾病的修复成为可能。最新研究发现，通过动员机体自身骨髓来源细胞（BMCs）亦可达到修复组织损伤的作用，相比传统的骨髓干细胞移植方法更加安全易行。因此，促进自身BMCs动员及其在病变处的归巢、定向分化很可能成为干细胞治疗的新途径。补肾益精方是我们临床常用的治疗干性AMD和RP的基本方，本课题在前期临床疗效观察基础上，以先天性RP模型RCS大鼠以及碘酸钠诱导的干性AMD小鼠模型作为研究载体，采用细胞示踪方法，病理学、眼电生理学及分子生物学等现代研究技术，深入探讨补肾益精法促进自身BMCs修复视网膜变性损伤的作用及作用靶点，为临床治疗视网膜退行性疾病提供切实可靠的科学理论依据。

Retinal degenerative diseases including age related macular degeneration (AMD) and retinitis pigmentosa (RP) are a group of diseases that cause blindness. The pathology of retinal degeneration is the irreversible damage of retinal neurons, and there is no effective treatment available currently. In recent years, the emergence of cell replacement therapy makes it possible to rescue retinal degenerative diseases. New research shows that mobilized endogenous BMCs can also repair tissue damage, and the method is more safe and feasible compared with cell transplantation. Therefore, promoting the mobilization of BMCs, its homing and directional differentiation at damage area maby become new strategies of stem cell therapy. Bu Shen Yi Jing Fang is the commonly used basic formula for dry AMD and RP treatment. This project is designed on the basis of clinical observation,with inherited retinal degeneration　model RCS rat and sodium iodate induced dry AMD model mice as study objects, by means of modern research techniques like cell tracking method, pathology, ocular electrophysiology, cellular and molecular microbiology approaches to thoroughly investigate the effect and effect targets of Bu Shen Yi Jing Fang on repairing retinal degeneration damage through motivating endogenous bone marrow stem cells, thus to supply reliable and scientific evidence for clinical application.
