我国生命科学发展正处于跨越的关键时期，制定生命科学领域不同学科发展战略，明确优先资助领域，是国家自然科学基金科研计划的迫切需求。本项目拟通过国内外调研，了解国家重大需求相关的重要科学问题，把握国际生命科学发展的前沿，明确“十三五”推动学科均衡协调可持续发展和交叉融合的战略思路和保障措施，提出未来5-10年我国生命科学研究发展战略目标和优先资助领域，为重大研究计划、重大项目和重点项目的立项提供主要根据。

Life science in China is in a critical period of rapid development. For the national basic research program, it is important to establish the development strategy and formulate the priority funding areas in all the disciplines of life science. Through the investigation on the current status of life science around the world, this project intends to understand the national demands for life science in China, to grasp the forefront of the discipline development of life science, to come up with measures and strategic ideas for promoting inter-disciplinary balanced and sustainable development during the “Thirteenth 5-years” plan, to present the strategic goal of life science research and the priority funding areas in the next 5-10 years in China. The above research will provide an important basis for the major research plans, major projects and key projects of life science in China.
