石蜈蚣目属唇足纲,是多足动物的重要类群之一,分布广且地理差异性强,是研究历史生物地理的良好材料。我国跨古北和东洋两大动物地理区,石蜈蚣目资源丰富,除台湾种类较清楚外,大陆地区本底极为不清。当前,世界范围内,石蜈蚣目各级分类阶元争议较大,系统发育关系尚未根本解决,对石蜈蚣目区系起源与分化、物种地理分布格局等知之甚少。而我国石蜈蚣目多数种类由外国学者命名,国内仅二十世纪王友燮和张崇洲先生做过零星研究,严重缺乏石蜈蚣目的系统分类资料。本项目拟在已研究25省市石蜈蚣标本的基础上,通过补充采集标本,利用比较形态学和DNA条形码技术,对中国古北区石蜈蚣目进行系统分类研究,解决石蜈蚣目分类悬疑问题,基本摸清中国古北区石蜈蚣目物种本底,健全中国古北区石蜈蚣目物种多样性、系统分类和物种分布的详细资料,为世界石蜈蚣目与多足动物系统学研究以及探讨更高分类阶元的亲缘关系提供重要基础资料。
英文摘要
Lithobiomorpha is one important group of Myriapod animals, belonging to class Chilopoda. Lithobiomorpha is an ideal material for studying historical biogeography becuase it distributes widely and its habitats is highly different. In China, there is a high diversity in Lithobiomorpha, because China is located in both the Palaearctic and Oriental Regions and has various habitats, however, the Myriapoda fauna of China is still poorly known except Taiwan, especially on Lithobiomorpha. Moreover, no systematic studies on Lithobiomorpha has recently been founded after some foreign scholars and You-xie Wang and Chong-zhou Zhang in China. Based on the specimens of Lithobiomorpha that we already collected in 25 Provinces and will collect in more regions, this project is to improve the inventory of Lithobiomorpha species in the Palearctic part of China, through the comparative morphology and DNA barcode, obtain more details about Lithobiomorpha taxonomy and species distribution, preliminary complete a species information database of Chinese Lithobiomorpha in the Palearctic realm, and make an objective answer to some above problems. Finally, this project will provide more important fundamental information for studies on the phylogeny and evolution of the higher taxonomic taxa of Lithobiomorpha and Myriapoda.
