研究表明长期暴露于高浓度细颗粒污染物空气中导致肺损伤,然而个体易感性及空气污染致肺损伤水平的作用通路至今不清,是我国当前医学界迫切需要解决的关键问题。近年有国外研究表明某些天然植物提取物可以减轻由于空气污染诱导的肺部损伤,其机理包括抑制氧化应激反应,减轻炎性细胞浸润等,为其生物制药产业开辟我国市场提供了实验依据。少数研究表明某些中药方剂能够减轻雾霾所致的健康损害,但作用机制尚未明确,而我国中医药在此领域有其鲜明特色和有效方法。本课题组近年针对雾霾“闭、塞、遏”特点采用宣肺化浊法创立了清肺降霾汤,研究表明此方在减轻雾霾导致肺损伤方面具有良好临床疗效;并运用生物组学方法初步建立了雾霾对人体健康损害的大数据平台以进一步探索。本研究拟通过代谢组、转录组及基因组等生物组学方法筛查雾霾致肺损伤的相关作用靶点,并探讨其肺损伤相关作用机制;结合相关通路及作用靶点,阐释宣肺化浊法的肺保护机制。

英文摘要

Exposure to high concentration particles has been shown associated with increased rates of lung injury. However, it remains unknown that the individual susceptibility to air pollution exposure and the mechanism of the pathogenesis of lung injury induced by the polluted air. These complexities have made it very challenging for medical professionals to develop adequate protection strategies. Several studies from other countries have suggested that health impacts of some air pollutants may be modified by individual intake of nature product owing to their anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory activities. The evidence provided by such research papers is becoming a strong evidence for some foreign pharmaceutical companies to promote their nature products in Chinese market. Although there is several literature reporting the clinical evidence of some Chinese medicine in the protection of human health, little bench research has been carried to explore the mechanism about this unique and very effective method of Chinese medicine. We summarized the Chinese Medicine literatures to date related to air pollution health effects in terms of "trapping, clotting and congesting". We made a formula named as "Qing Fei Jiang Mai" based on the traditional Chinese Medicine principle of clearing lung through decreasing dirt. Simultaneously, we built a big data research platform on air pollution health effect via omics data to explore deeper. We aim to provide the potential targets and mechanism related to fine particles induced lung injury in the polluted air. Subsequently, we will address the mechanism of Chinese Medicine (Qing Fei Jiang Mai) with the targets and mechanism we identifiy.
