The final evolution direction of Nabkhas has a lot of effect on the ecological environment of the oasis area, since the Nabkhas is an important ecological barrier between oasis and desert. The huge Nitraria tangutorun nebkha in this area was drowned due to several addition ecological water to the Tail-streams of Shiyang River-Qingtu Lake from 2010 to 2013. Trough systematic investigating Nitraria tangutorun nebkha individuals characteristics in different stages of evolution before and after intermittent submergence, it will clear the spatial distribution within the range of Nitraria tangutorun nebkha the community, also will discuss the distribution pattern of other plants and the fundamental role of Nitraria tangutorun nebkha promoting biodiversity in the sand and their own survival adaptive characteristics; it will clear soils distribution of Nitraria tangutorun community, it is necessary and has special significance to explore the basic position of structure and function in the community and ecosystem, while it will provide a reference for the conservation and utilization of resources in other areas of Nitraria tangutorun, but also it will provide the basic data and scientific basis for the correct assessment of the overall efficiency of Qingtu Lake ecology, importing water program and adjusting the rational allocation of Shiyang River basin resources of the entire water resource.
