申请人黄浩博士长期致力于弥散磁共振成像的大脑皮层与白质微观结构和早期发育研究,是国际公认的早期脑发育影像学科学家,多次作为首席或核心成员承担美国国家和州政府科研项目。发表SCI论文52篇,其中近5年发表28篇。近五年论文SCI引用1502次,其中严格他引1273次。在脑发育研究领域,申请人与北师大认知神经科学与学习国家重点实验室贺永团队优势互补,建立了良好的合作关系,在Cereb Cortex等已联合发表论文4篇。本项目拟在前期合作基础上,采用多模态扩散和静息态功能磁共振成像,结合复杂网络分析和大尺度数值模拟计算理论及计算方法,研究31到42孕周这一关键发育年龄段的脑网络拓扑特性,揭示该年龄段脑发育的神经结构基础和动力学原理。同时,纵向追踪婴幼儿行为学表现,揭示认知发展的早期脑网络基础。项目的实施不仅能从神经通路角度揭示人脑结构和功能早期发育规律,而且有助于探索早期认知发展的脑网络机制。
英文摘要
Dr. Hao Huang has been working on microstructural properties of cerebral cortex and white matter as well as early brain development using non-invasive diffusion MRI technique. He is internationally recognized scientist in brain development and holds many national and state grants. Dr. Huang has published 52 articles in refereed international journals, with more than 1500 citations. In brain development research field, Dr Huang has established a close collaboration with Dr. Yong He's team from the State Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning, Beijing Normal University, China. They have jointly published 4 articles in Cerebral Cortex and other journals. On the basis of the collaboration between two parties, in the proposed project they plan to utilize diffusion MRI and resting-state fMRI, together with complex network analysis and large-scale simulation modeling, to further investigate topological properties of brain networks in infancy aged around 31 to 42 postmenstrual weeks. Moreover, by collecting follow-up behavioral data, they would explore brain network basis of individual cognitive differences. They expect that the collaborative grant will enable us to understand the principles of brain structural and functional development and brain basis of individual cognitive development from a network perspective.
