高血压在全球范围内是一个最常见的慢性病之一。当前我国的高血压患者已达到了2亿人。发达国家在高血压的基础研究方面投入巨大，取得了许多丰硕的成果，而我国在高血压基础研究方面十分薄弱，差距尤为突出。目前国内的心血管会议非常多，高血压方面的会议却非常少，专注于高血压基础研究的会议就更少了。. 羊城高血压国际研讨会将在2016.12.6-12.7在中山医学院举办，会议立足于高血压基础研究与临床研究相结合，并逐步向高血压精准医疗发展，目的是为国内、国际从事高血压研究学者的交流搭建一个平台，受邀的国内讲者多是各地高血压研究所的领军人物，受邀的海外讲者包括多名来自美国、英国、日本的著名高血压领域的专家。会议的举办为高血压基础研究在中国的推广是具有重要意义的，可以为与会者在确定研究方向、把握实验设计等方面带来一些新的启示，有助于博士研究生或硕士研究生把握相关知识及国际学术前沿，扩展知识面。

Hypertension is one of the most common chronic disease around the world. Currently, there are more than 200 million hypertensive patients in China. The Developed countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom, have devoted great efforts into the basic research of hypertension and they made lots of achievements. Even thought the research cardiovascular disease has been emphasized and performaed for several years, the level of our hypertension research still far behind that of western countries. Moreover, seminars were rarely focused on the basic research of hypertension...The Guangzhou International Forum in Hypertension Research aims to combine basic research with clinical research of hypertension, and develop the precise therapy of hypertension. The forum will be held in Dec 6-7, 2016 in Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China, which will provide an excellent platform for academic communications and cooperations between domestic and foreign scholars working on this area. The invited domestic speakers are the leading experts on the field of hypertension research nationwide. Meanwhile, the invited overseas speakers are distinguished experts on hypertension research from the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan. The participants will benefit from the forum to obtain some new enlightenment in determining the research direction and enriching their experimental design experience. It is also a great opportunity for the graduate students to contact with the cutting edge of knowledge and academic way of thinking.
