生物的起源与演化是人类关注自己的另外一种表现，但学者对蜘蛛的研究相对明显少于其他动物，仅极少数蜘蛛类群有了起源演变历史。豹蛛作为游猎型蜘蛛的典型代表，其多样性极为丰富、运动能力非常强，与人类的农业关系较为密切，它们的起源、分化与扩散历史对于人们认识RTA分支类蜘蛛丰富多样性的形成、找寻蜘蛛广布种与狭布种间的关系、更好地利用蜘蛛进行各项研究或应用具有重要意义。本项目将在形态分类与单系性修订的基础之上，采集各重点区域、代表豹蛛属绝大多数种组的部分种类的新鲜样本(不少于80种，平均每种不少于5个个体)，选用4个线粒体基因(COI、12S、16S和ND1)和3个核基因(28S、18S和H3)，对豹蛛进行分子系统发育研究，并在此基础上，结合线粒体基因进化速率进行系统发育树上各节点的分化时间估算，再联系历史分化事件，对豹蛛各种组的起源、分化与扩散历程进行探究，还原其在欧洲、亚洲和北美洲的历史演变过程。

The origin and evolution of organism is another kind of expression for human thinking about where we come from and where we go. Spiders is a group with little research on origin and evolution. Only several spider groups’ evolutionary history was studied. The wolf spider genus Pardosa is a typical group of wondering spiders with the highest diversity, the strongest moving ability and the close relationship with agricultural fields. Where they come from and how to differentiate and spread to Holarctic area would be very important for people to learn why the RTA clade spiders with such high diversity, to seek the relationship between widespread and limited distributed species and to utilize spiders for some study and application. Based on morphological and monophyletic studies, this program will try to acquire more than 80 species with at least 5 individuals each species from Europe, Asia and North America, representing almost all species groups of Pardosa, select 4 mitochondrial and 3 nuclear genes (COI, 12S, 16S, ND1; 28S, 18S, H3), sequence them and do the molecular phylogenetic analysis. Furthermore, the mtDNA substitution rates will be used to evaluate the divergence time of each clade. Finally, the differentiation and dispersal will be explored and the evolutionary history of Pardosa be shown.
