在对呼伦贝尔沙地、科尔沁沙地、浑善达克沙地、毛乌素沙地苔藓植物进行从西到东、从南到北的标本采集和各区域不同植被类型地面生苔藓植物样地样方和环境因子调查基础上，揭示整个内蒙古沙地苔藓植物区系组成与成因及分布特点，研究生活型类群划分及不同尺度上地面生苔藓植物层片构成变化及其环境生态学机理，建立内蒙古沙地地面生苔藓植物群落分类系统，分析地面生苔藓植物群落分布格局与环境因子的关系。通过上述研究开拓苔藓植物群落生态学研究新领域，为从整体上认识内蒙古沙地生态系统稳定与恢复机理以及指导沙地植被生物多样性保护与合理利用实践提供有价值科研成果。

Based on the collecting of specimen and the investigation of quadrat of ground bryophytes and correlated environmental factors in the sampling point of different vegetation forms in the areas of the southern part ,the middle part,the northern part,the eastern part and western part of the each sandlands of Hulunbeier sandland, Horqin sandland, Hunshandake sandland and Maowusu sandland, we will study the composition characteristic, origins and distribution pattern of bryophytes floral. Meanwhile, we are going to focus on the ecological questions of ground bryophytes communities including taxonomcal groups of life forms, the variation of synusiae composition and its relationships with the environments on different scales, classification system, and the distribution patterns and its relationships with the environments. Based on these researches, we will develop new research frontiers of bryophytes communities, provide theretical evidence for revealing the mechanism of stabilization and degradation of the sandlands ecolosystem,and carrying out the scientific protection and utilization of the sandland vegetations.
