The resource and genetic diversity of Rhizoctonia spp.(R. spp.) has been studied in West-south horizontal valley. The result showed that there were R.solani (AG-1,2,3,4,5) and R. binucleate (BNR) (AG-A,B,F,G,L,O,R,R,V(new anastomosis group (AG) found in the valley) and TG-F) in the valley. By analysising 28S rDNA(LSU),5.8S rDNA -ITS,ISSR, a new AG of BNR had been found since 1980,which supplyed the new standard isolates for other R.spp .research. Three subgroups (a,b,c) of AG-P had been found since AG-B(a,b,o),D(I,II,III), F(a,b) could been divided into subgroup. The bridge isolates which could anastomose which AG-L and AG-O were found,which supllyed the evidence that AG-L,AG-O should blong to one AG. The sequence of 5.8S rDNA of AG-1,2,3,4,5,A,B,F,G,L,O,R,P,V and TG-F had been obtained and would supply to NCBI,which could supply the more sequence evidence for identifying R.spp. in the world.
